The first graduation ceremony of international students who have completed their academic programmes from Dibrugarh University was held on Thursday. The event was graced by the Vice Chancellor Prof Jiten Hazarika, Registrar, Paramananda Sonowal, Controller of Examinations, PK Kakoty, director of the Office of International Affairs Surajit Borkotokey. Arinjit Hazarika, Academic Officer and Deputy Controller of Examinations anchored the programme. Reep Hazarika, the Managing Director of Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited (BCPL) attended the event as the chief guest. Deans, Heads, teachers, officers and students of Dibrugarh University also attended the ceremony.
Sarah Zengwa and Tariro Yolanda Manungo from Zimbabwe who graduated with a Master’s in Social Work Studies from Dibrugarh University as well as Zenga Emmanuel Ouere from Mali who graduated with a Master’s in Economics from Dibrugarh University were feted during the graduation ceremony.
