The Assam Jatiya Parishad today staged a protest in Dibrugarh against the state government’s move to implement Mathematics and Science in English language from the next academic sessions in all government and provincialised Assamese and other vernacular medium schools from class 3 to class 12 instead of the present practice of teaching them in Assamese, Bodo or Bengali.
