The first Medical College of North East India, Assam Medical College steps to its 75th year of its existence this year and as an attempt to celebrate this milestone the college has undertaken this initiative to host a plethora of cultural, literary and sports activities. As a part of this program, a debate competition has been organised on the 24th of September, 2022 with the topic of the house as “IN THE INDIAN CONTEXT, REGIONALISM IS NOT CONDUCIVE TO BUILDING OF A STRONG NATION.” as a homage to memory of late Professor Dr. Ratan Kotokey. The event will be graced by the esteemed presence of Writer, Thinker, Columnist and Orator Mayur Bora as the inaugurator and with journalist Zarir Hussain as the guest of honour. The debate will be overseen by Dr. Numaal Mamin who would grace the event as speaker.
Spending the spirit of our Platinum Jubilee celebration various colleges in and around North-East are expected to join and participate with one team by undergraduate or postgraduate students standing either for or against the motion from all the participating institutes.
