BCPL celebrated World Environment Day (WED) 2021 amidst the pandemic following all the COVID protocols. Plantation drive was carried out at in the Petrochemical Complex in Dibrugarh and also in different units of BCPL i.e. Lakwa, Duliajan along with Barbaruah and Sivasagar Township.On this occasion Shri. Reep Hazarika, Managing Director, BCPL along with other senior officials inaugurated the Souvenir “Envicare Vol. III” –an initiative towards environment awareness by BCPL Environment Department.
The main objective behind the launching of this souvenir is to share knowledge and to spread awareness of environmental consciousness.The souvenir contains various informative articles which are contributed by various environmentalists and technocrats. BCPL as a responsible corporate citizen and its commitment towards sustainable development has accorded the highest priority to environmental considerations throughout all phases from concept to commissioning and its operation.
