As Assam Medical College is completing its 75 years of existence, the Institution is celebrating its Platinum Jubilee with a yearlong program culminating on 3rd November, 2022 with participation of all the students, staff, alumni and well wishers of this glorious institution. Health Minister Keshab Mahanta, Rameswar Teli, Union Minister of State, Ministry of Labour and Employment and Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Sarbananda Sonowal, Union Cabinet Minister, Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways and Ministry of AYUSH will attend the occasion on November 3.
Internationally acclaimed athlete, Arjun Hima Das also attended the Platinum Jubilee programme. She inaugurated the newly built Volley ball court at the playground.
Lighting of Olympic Flame was also done by Hima Das at the AMC Main Playground.
