The Dibrugarh Hanumanbax Surajmall Kanoi (DHSK) College has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Lakshmibai College under University of Delhi. The MoU was signed by the two colleges under ‘Vidya Vistar Scheme’ on Wednesday. 

Terming it as an important milestone in the in the 76 years of glorious history of DHSK College, principal Dr Sashi Kanta Saikia said that it would be a mutually beneficial collaboration which would also cultivate a sense of bonhomie among the two institutes and would be helpful in developing social and cultural bonding among the students of the two colleges having separate cultural and social background. He said that DHSK College became the first college in Assam to sign a MoU with a college under University of Delhi.
Saikia said that with the signing of the MoU, both the colleges would now take part in a number of academic activities, which would open up doors for its students to learn and experience through academic exchange programmes. He added that the collaborative research activities among the academic communities of the two institutions was expected to be a great contribution towards national development. 


DHSK College had earlier signed MoUs with GICT, Bhutan, Career Launcher, Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited, ICT Academy, Tamilnadu, USTM, Meghalaya, JKM Group of Institutions, Jharkhand and Aditya Diagnostics and Hospital,  Dibrugarh.
