The new committee of the Shree Vishwanath Marwari Databya Aushadhalaya was formed in Dibrugarh on Monday with Rajen Lohia re-elected as President and Anil Poddar as Secretary.
Election Officer, Advocate Bajrang Lal Kejriwal and Joint Election Officer CA Akash Agarwal administered the oath of office and secrecy to him in the presence of dignitaries of the society in the oath-taking ceremony. In the presence of distinguished litterateur Devi Prasad Bagrodia, Mahavir Prasad Goenka, Agrasen Academy President Gunjan Saharia and a large number of members of the society, 19 other members of the executive committee were also administered the oath.
Earlier, a meeting of the newly elected executive committee was held in which Rajan Lohia was elected president and Anil Poddar as secretary. After this, the charge hand over letter signed by all the 21 members of the executive committee was handed over to the election officer by senior member CA Jyoti Prasad Kanoi. After this, he was duly sworn in by the election officer. Other members of the executive committee will soon be handed over their responsibility. Before the meeting, all members garlanded the bust of Maharaja Agrasan on the occasion of Maharaja Agresan Jayanti.
