The first tea museum in the North East is coming up in Dibrugarh known as the tea city of India. Rituparna Baruah, Chairman, Assam Tourism Development Corporation, informed this in a press conference today. With the financial support of the Government of Assam and the North East Council, a total of 90 per cent work has already been completed in the first phase of the project. The first tea museum in the North East will be officially opened to the public in the first half of 2023.
