Three time BJP legislator from Dibrugarh Prasanta Phukan has retained the prestigious Dibrugarh assembly seat by a huge margin of over 35,000 votes. The senior BJP leader was pitted against Rajkumar Nilanetra Neog of the Congress and Ajit Borgohain of the Asom Jatiya Parishad.
