A seminar on “Improving the lives of Women Tea Tribes in Assam” was held at Sri Sri Aauniaati Satra in Dibrugarh on Sunday. The seminar was organised by Assam State Commission for Women (ASCW) in collaboration with National Commission for Women in association with the Dibrugarh District Women Cell.
ASCW chairman Dr Hemaprabha Borthakur , Duliajan MLA Terosh Gowala, Dibrugarh Deputy Comissioner Biswajit Pegu, Dibrugarh Development Authority chairman Sanjay Dutta, DHSK College principal Sashi Kanta Saikia Dibrugarh Municipal Board chairman Dr Saikat Patra were among those present in the programme.
