Chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday inaugurated the second edition of the Superintendent of Police (SP) conference at oil township Duliajan on Monday that has been organised to chart out an efficient roadmap for the police force. Over 100 top brass of the police including 94 superintendent of police (SP), additional superintendent of police (ASP) and sub divisional police officers (SDPO) representing 34 districts are participating in the two-day conference being held at the Zaloni club.
 Union MoS Rameswar Teli, state cabinet ministers Atul Bora, Sanjoy Kishan, chief secretary Jishnu Barua,  DGP Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta, GOC IV-Corps Lt Gen Ravin Khosla, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief (AOC-in-C) of Eastern Air Command Air Marshal DK Patnaik, Oil India Limited CMD SC Mishra, OIL Resident Chief Executive Prasanta Borkotoky were among those present in the inaugural event.
