With the requirement of liquid medical oxygen (LMO) jumping manifold due to covid-19, a mammoth liquid oxygen tank with a capacity of 40,000 litres (40kl) donated by Oil India Limited is being installed at the Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH). A single refill will now ensure 15 days of non-stop supply of oxygen to every needy patients admitted at the hospital. The tank was installed in front of the superspeciality building of the AMCH.
