Dibrugarh witness 2 major road accidents in 24 hours, 3 dead

Over speed and rash driving has caused the death of 3 persons in Dibrugarh in two separate incidents in the last 24 hours. On Sunday two persons died in a road accident that took place near Banipur Rail gate in Dibrugarh at about 3 a.m. this morning.One Bolero pick up van bearing registration no. AS23 BC 8932 said to be hit a Truck no AS01 GC 3926 from back side. Both the vehicle were comming from Tinsukia side. The driver of the Bolero car, Prashanta Hazarika and handlemen Dudu Handique said to be died on the spot

Yesterday at about 5pm, a major accident took place at link road from Seujpur to the AMCH.

A bolero bearing registration no. AS06 W 0599 driven by the driver Deep Shah of the AMCH campus, was coming from the AMCH side along with another three persons namely Abhishek Raut, (25 years), Rupom Bora(21years), Kamal Khan (24years). All of them reside at the AMCH campus.

The driver of the bolero, hit one motorcycle who was coming from the opposite direction towards AMCH. As a result the the motorcycle bearing no. AS06 U 6726 bounced back and hit one Creta vehicle which was parked by the roadside bearing registration no. AS01 EM 2005.

After that the bolero driver lost his control and hit another Maruti car, vide registration no. AS06J 1691 which was parked on the road, the same bolero also damaged one electric post.

Police shifted all the injured persons to the AMCH. The motorcyclist later died of injuries.
