Reiterating its demand for Scheduled Tribe (ST) status to the Tai Ahom community of the state, the All Tai Ahom Students’ Union (ATASU) staged a 2-hour sit-in demonstration at Rajgarh in Dibrugarh district on Monday.ATASU central committee joint secretary Milan Buragohain, vice president Debojit Gogoi, Dibrugarh district general secretary Rupom Gogoi were among those who participated in the protest along with over 200 ATASU members.
