The “Ride of Pride” bike rally to celebrate the momentous occasion of winning the prestigious President’s Colour Award by the Assam Police reached Dibrugarh on Friday. The team lead-by Assistant Inspector General (AIG) of police Anand Mishra was received at theDibrugarh superintendent of police office at 12am by SP Shwetank Mishra.  Earlier it made a brief stop at the Jagannath temple near the Dibrugarh town bypass. The team later left for Charaideo.

The ‘Ride of Pride’ was flagged off from Dhubri on May 2 to celebrate the momentous occasion of winning the prestigious President’s Colour Award by the Assam Police.
The rally is set to cover the entire perimeters of Assam and it will start from Dhubri. ‘Ride of Pride’ will last for 8 days and it will cover 27 districts across the state with a total distance of 2,055 kilometers.
