Senior IAS officer Anant Lal Gyani has been appointed as the guardian secretary of Dibrugarh district. The 2011 batch IAS officer of the Assam-Meghalaya cadre will also function as the guardian secretary of Tinsukia district. On Tuesday the Assam government appointed 13 senior IAS officers as guardian secretaries of the 34 districts of Assam. Earlier the chief minster had appointed guardian minister for every districts of Assam. Agriculture minister Atul Bora was appointed the guardian minister of Dibrugarh district.
