An installation ceremony of the the New Executive Committee of The Toastmasters Club of Dibrugarh took place at the Gymkhana Club premises on January 6th 2023. The prestigious organization will be Headed by the President Trisha Choudhury for the term commencing from January to June, 2023. ToastMaster Trisha Choudhury is a chartered accountant by profession and has served as the Vice President Education for the last 6 months. The new committee took the oath under the guidance of the Installation Officer, Area Director TM Noopur Keshan.
The meeting was conducted in the presence of Chief Guest, Dr Saikat Patra( Head of DMC), members, guests and media personnel. In the graceful evening, organised on the theme ‘National Youth Day’ to commemorate the birthday of Swami Vivekananda, the outgoing President TM Yogya Hansaria delivered an emotional speech reflecting upon her rewarding tenure of the last six months. She also congratulated the forthcoming Committee led by the newly elected President TM Trisha Choudhury. TM Trisha in her first presidential address promised to take the club to new heights. An eloquent speech was presented by the chief guest Dr. Saikat Patra. The ceremony was followed by a regular Toastmasters meeting hosted by Toastmaster of the day TM Divya Modi. A speech by TM Pratibha Varma was also presented which was evaluated by TM Sidhharth Thard. The event concluded with an award ceremony and photo session.
Toastmasters is an international organization that helps in developing leadership, public speaking and communication skills.
