A leadership conclave was organised by the Toastmasters Club of Dibrugarh to mark the 150 meetings milestone of the club on October 12. The event that was held at the Gymkhana Club was attended by over 80 guests from various fields including students of Dibrugarh University, entrepreneurs and media personnel. The chief guests were Asit Das, General Manager (HR), Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited (BCPL) and Sanjoy Dutta, District Development Commissioner, Dibrugarh. The meeting commenced with the welcome address by the president of The Toastmasters Club of Dibrugarh, Yogya Hansaria. Division director Vivek Deorah enlightened the audience with his knowledge and experience in the organisation. The chief guests presented their keynote addresses speaking about their lifelong experiences. A short question and answer session followed the speeches and was moderated by Nishant Ajitsaria and Suchitra Varma respectively. A glimpse of a regular Toastmaster session was presented for the benefit of guests, throwing light upon the skills like, impromptu speaking and evaluation.
