The United Liberation Front of Asom-Independent (ULFA-I) has released the employee of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) Ritul Saikia at 7.05 am this morning along the India-Myanmar border.
They have now reached Mon district in Nagaland and Ritul Saikia will be reaching home soon.
It needs to mention that Ritul Saikia has been released by the banned outfit earlier yesterday, but due to rainy weather and hailstorm, they could not move further. But interrogation is underway and Saikia is on his way to home.

The ULFA-I announced on May 20 that it will release Ritul Saikia within the next few days and Saikia shall be soon reunited with his family.
The move from the outfit came after Assam chief minister  Himanta Biswa Sarma recently appealed to ULFA(I) Chief Paresh Baruah to release Saikia at the earliest.

On April 21, three ONGC workers, including Saikia, were kidnapped from a rig site in Sivasagar.
