2 killed, 6 injured in Dibrugarh road mishap
Two persons were killed and six others injured in a head-on collision between an Innova car (AS-01-JC 3076) and a Truck (HR-5838) in Leptakatta area of Dibrugarh on Sunday evening. The incident took at around 7 PM on Sunday when the Innova car carrying three passengers from Guwahati and four passengers from Sivasagar were heading back homr after attending a “Annaprasanna” ceremony at one of their relatives home at Chabua, around 25 km away from Dibrugarh. One of the deceased was identified as Puspa Surekha Agarwal (65) of Guwahati. The other deceased was the driver of the car whose identity is not yet known. The three-member family from Guwahati were residents of Hi-Tech Plaza, Flat no-4, ABC, Bhangagarh, Guwahati. The others were residents of Sivasagar town. The injured are being treated at the Sankardeva Hospital in Dibrugarh. The injured passengers have been identified as Satish Agarwal (45), Pompy Agarwal (42), Krishna Agarwal (25), Nirmal Agarwal (70), Namal Agarwal, and Golo Agarwal.
