Members of the All Assam Students’ Union (Aasu) on Monday staged a human chain protest at Lepetkata in Dibrugarh over the sluggish pace of construction in the ongoing four-lane project work between Moran town to Bogibeel Junction in Dibrugarh on the National Highway-37. Six years ago on February 27, 2016 union minister of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari had laid the foundation of the four-lane project. However due to sluggish pace of work the Rs 330.3 crore road infrastructure project has made a physical progress of just 63.47%.
