Several top Assam police officials have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.
As per reports, senior police officers Hiren Nath (ADGP), Satyaraj Hazarika (DIG), Dhananjay P. Ghanawat (SP, Sonitpur district), Rajen Singh (SP, Baksa district), Mohanlal Meena (SP, Sadiya district), VV Rakesh Reddy (SP, Goalpara district), and CID SP Pranabjyoti Goswami have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.
Dr. Naba Jyoti Gogoi, SDM&HO (HQ) and DSO, of Dibrugarh, has also tested positive.
