Bikram Kairi, a 2014 batch Assam – Meghalaya cadre IAS officer joined as the new District Commissioner (DC) of Dibrugarh today. He was handed over the charge by outgoing DC Biswajit Pegu who has been posted as the new Home Secretary, Assam.
Kairi was accorded a warm welcome by the DC office employees and staff. Before joining as DC Dibrugarh he was serving as the Commissioner, Panchayat and Rural Development, Assam and MD of Swachha Bharat Mission (Gramin).
