Engineer arrested for pothole death in Dibrugarh. Samir Sarkar of Vill-Shibpur, Dist-North 24 Pargona, PO-Ballavpur, West Bengal (Pipeline supervisor/Survey Engineer) is arrested in connection with Dibrugarh PS Case No. 327/2023 u/s 304 (causing death by negligence) of IPC.
He has been arrested for alleged negligence during the execution of the AMRUT project in Dibrugarh.
He will be produced before the court today.
On June 8, a youth from Loharpatty area of the town Abdul Rahim died after his scooter fell into a pothole in Graham Bazaar area of Dibrugarh town.
