A total of 14 old rooms located on the lower floor of the hospital have been modernized by the present executive committee of the organization. Along with this, the "Arogya Pharmacy" located in the hospital premises was also inaugurated today by CA Jyoti Prasad Kanoi, former president of the organization and social worker by cutting the ribbon and formal worship.
The programme started with the worship of Lord Dhanvantari by Pandit Amod Choudhury, in which senior members of the organization, executive members, hospital staff etc. were present. After that, the 14 renovated rooms were jointly inaugurated with cutting the ribbon by the president of the organization Rajen Lohia and Secretary Anil Poddar.
It is to be noted that earlier in August 2020, the 14 old rooms located on the first floor were modernized while giving a new look to the hospital, as well as the "OT" of the hospital was also given a new look, which was formally inaugurated by the then Deputy Commissioner of Dibrugarh. In the programme, senior doctors and nurses serving in the hospital were also honored by the hospital management committee with Fulam Gamocha.
