Assam Governor Gulab Chand Kataria visited the site of the Sri Sri Aniruddha Deva Sports University at Balijan Pani Era village at Chabua in Dibrugarh district on Friday.
To boost the sports environment in the State, he chaired a meeting in Dibrugarh with the DC, Vice-Chancellor of Sri Sri Aniruddha Deva Sports University, and key officials from the Sports and Youth Welfare Department of the State. We discussed the needs and potential of the Sports University to enhance sports education.
After the meeting, he visited the site where the Sports University is being built. Later, I took the opportunity to visit the multi-disciplinary sports complex in Khanikar and assessed its progress.
