On his way to Dhemaji district to attend the Cabinet meeting to be held on Thursday, state minister Pijush Hazarika arrived in Dibrugarh today as per the directions of Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma and visited the Arogya Bhavan Covid Vaccine Centre, Khanikar Tea Garden Primary School, Khanikar Tea Garden Old Line Anganwadi Centre, Na-Hazar Konwar Gaon Primary School, Na-Hazar Konwar Gaon Anganwadi Centre, Barbaruah Block Primary Health Centre, Kumaranichiga Lower Basic Primary School, Tingkhong Gaon Water Supply Scheme, Laluka Gaon Primary School etc to review the implementation of the district’s developmental schemes. He also took stock of the insufficiencies and grievances of the local people. MLAs Prasanta Phukan and Binod Hazarika, former MLA Rituparna Baruah, Dibrugarh Development Committee Superintendent Ashim Hazarika, the Deputy Commissioner of Dibrugarh District Pallav Gopal Jha and officials of the district administration were present on the occasion.
