Union minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Saturday visited the New Market area in Dibrugarh to take stock of the fire damage caused by a devastating fire recently. He interacted with the affected businessmen and assured them of assistance from the government. As many as 17 shops and 5 residential buildings were gutted in a devastating fire that took place in New Market area in the heart of Dibrugarh town early on Wednesday.
