The Toastmasters Club of Dibrugarh hosted the second season of ‘Game Of Zones’ on Sunday (May 22) at the Dibrugarh Gymkhana Club. The Game of Zones comprised of a series of three contests namely Devil’s Advocate (turncoat debate), Pied Piper (storytelling) and Rib Tickler (standup comedy). The topic for turncoat debate was ‘Peer Pressure is Harmful to an Individual.’ 
The contest was organised primarily for non-members of the club. The contests saw large participation, from both men and women, from diverse arenas like medical students, aspiring chartered accountants, lawyers, bibliophiles, sports enthusiasts, food bloggers and so on. There were a total of 15 participants in all contests.
The winners were Devil’s Advocate – Tushar Kejriwal (1st), Anshuman Pareek (2nd), Pied Piper – Kushal Beria (1st), Vibhu Bansal (2nd)Rib Tickler – Vibhu Bansal (1st), Kushal Beria (2nd).
The session was opened by Trisha Choudhury, who stated the Club’s mission and laying the ground rules. President Vivek Khemka, with his opening address, welcomed the guests, members and contestants. Emcee for the event was Rishija Bagaria, who hosted the entire event. Upcoming Division Director TM Vivek Deorah enlightened the house with the phenomenal advantages of Toastmasters Platform, followed by prize distribution and valedictory by Yogya Hansaria.
The Toastmasters Club of Dibrugarh is a part of Toastmasters International whose objective is to help people become better public speaker, communicator and leader. 

“The event turned out to be a huge success because everyone took home long-lasting impressions and unique lessons from life as seen from different vantage points,” Club President Vivek Khemka said.
