In a major infrastructure boost amid the second wave of Covid-19, North East’s oldest medical college, the Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH,) thre open a 280-bedded au0er speciality block from Wednesday. Phase wise another ICU with 26 beds will be opened soon.The rest of the facilities in Super Speciality Block will be started phase wise soon.
“This is a milestone development in the history of AMC,” said Assam Medical College principal Dr Sanjeeb Kakati.
